This Privacy Policy explains how the Sweeper mobile application (“Sweeper”, “the app”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information. Sweeper is a social football sweepstake app that lets you create and join groups with friends, get drafted teams, follow fixtures and live scores, and react to matches with your group. By using Sweeper you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information. When you sign in with Google or with Apple (Sign in with Apple), we receive your name, email address, and a unique account identifier. If you use Sign in with Apple’s “Hide My Email” feature, we receive a private relay email address instead of your real email.
• Profile and content you create. Information you add in the app, such as your display name, the groups you create or join, drafted teams, and the messages and reactions you post within a group.
• Notification tokens. A device push notification token, so we can send you updates about fixtures, scores, and group activity.
• Technical and usage data. Basic device and connectivity information needed to operate the app reliably (for example, network status and error/diagnostic information).

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
• To provide core features: groups, team drafts, fixtures, live scores, chat, and reactions.
• To send push notifications about fixtures, scores, and group activity (you can control these in your device settings).
• To maintain the security, reliability, and performance of the app.

How Your Information Is Stored and Shared

Sweeper uses Google Firebase to operate. Your data is stored and processed using the following Firebase and Google services:

• Firebase Authentication — to sign you in and manage your account.
• Cloud Firestore — to store your groups, drafts, messages, reactions, and profile data.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — to deliver push notifications.
• Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple — to authenticate you.

These providers process data on our behalf in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing. Content you post within a group (such as messages, reactions, and your display name) is visible to other members of that group.

Google’s handling of data is governed by the Firebase Privacy and Security and the Google Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the app. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete your personal data, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations or to resolve disputes.

Your Rights and Choices

• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.
• You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.

Children’s Privacy

Sweeper is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Security

We use industry-standard measures provided by Google Firebase to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
